Happy Birthday Anne

No, not me....I'm talking about Anne Sutton of Bunny Hill Designs!
She's so busy right now getting ready for Quilt Market in Houston next week that she probably doesn't even remember that it's her special day, so I'm going to make sure you all know about it! (only 7 more sleeps till we leave...yikes)

I'm sure she's probably planning the booth display so that she can win 1st place again like she did in Portland last spring. This is what the booth looked like.

If she's not planning the booth display, then she's feverishly writing patterns, creating a last minute pincushion (Bitty Doggie), finishing up the binding on a quilt that just came back from being quilted, shipping all the supplies and props to Houston, editing photography, dealing with the printer, making signs etc. etc. etc. I could go on and on, but I think you get the picture.

She's an amazingly talented woman whose birthday never gets the recognition it deserves because it always falls during her busy "season". She's a wonderful friend and confident with the biggest heart you'll ever find. Generous almost to a fault, and always there when someone needs her. I'm lucky to call her my friend.

This is the only picture I could find of the 2 of us together. That's Anne on the left, our friend Sandy (no blog) in the middle and me on the right.
