Here's Barb with her family. Mike, Susie, Barb and Jill. They are such fun to be around. (Susie...the short one, is actually 3 years older than Jill...the tall one). Bummer, Susie.
And here's Barb with her big brother, Dave. (my hubby). We had a great visit even though it was too short. Happy Birthday Barb! (sorry about the grainy-ness of some of the pictures. I had my camera on macro setting...argh!)
Have you gotten your new American Patchwork and Quilting magazine yet? It's my very favorite and I have EVERY issue. I read them over and over again.
The current issue (June 2009), features Anne Sutton of Bunny Hill Designs at her home in California. Wait till you see her studio. It's so pretty and a room that really brings out her creativity. Wouldn't you love to work in that room? Puts mine to shame, that's for sure.
This is the cute quilt she designed for the magazine.
Did you notice my cute little pink post-its peeking out at the top? Will there ever be enough time in this life to get to all the quilts that have post-its? Hmmm, I doubt it! I LOVE this quilt by Miss Rosie. Great way to use up all those scraps laying around. I could probably make this whole quilt without buying any fabric at all. I'm always drawn to Carrie's quilts.
And if you've followed my blog for any time at all, you'll know that I love little quilts. This one measures 12" x 12". So cute!
I also love this one by Pam Buda of Heartspun Quilts. Met her at Portland Quilt Market and she's a real sweetie.
Thanks for stopping by!
OMG my magazine hasn't come yet...my friend Jeanne called me last night about Miss Rosie's quilt...she was hyperventilating...now you showed me the picture and I need to run and get a brown paper bag...oh I hope my magazine comes today.
ReplyDeleteI think I've worn the magazine pages out already. And I love to LIVE in Anne's studio. :o)
