Wa la!

First of all, thanks to everyone for wishing Mr. CnW a happy birthday. Who woulda thunk a man of his age (old) would get his feelings hurt by not making the blog cut? I’m still smiling about that. He read each and every one of the comments and you all made his day!

Now, on to quilty stuff.

Remember these?

This is what they turned into.

I was a little concerned about how busy the neutrals were, but once it got put together, I decided I like it. The pattern is called “Glory Bound” by Bonnie Blue Quilts.

I think I’m going to tea dye it or distress it or whatever you do to give it an aged look. I’ll have Mary from Quilt Hollow help me with that part since she does it to most of her quilts. Okay Mary?

Went to the guild’s quilt show in the park today. I’ll post pictures once I get them edited.

Hugs, Anne

  4. WOW WOW WOW - that baby is a stunner - love everything about it. I'll be interested in seeing it tea stained and it will give it a real antique look I bet since it's so scrappy. It's beautiful Anne - you did a great job :).
