I got 2 major quilts finished this week.
This one is called Folk Art Blooms and it’s by the talented ladies at the Buggy Barn. I saw the quilt hanging in their booth at market and it stopped me dead in my tracks.
It measures 87” x 87”. Hard to get a picture of the whole quilt. This one will hang in our entry way.
I also finished the Autumn Quilt from Heart to Hand patterns.
It feels so good to have these 2 rather large quilts finally finished.
Now it’s off to the quilter they go!
Hugs, Anne
I just love both of these quilts. Way to go two finishes.
ReplyDeleteAnne they are beautiful!!! You are awesome girl!!!
ReplyDeleteThey are both going to be stunning in your home, especially Folk Art Blooms in your entry!
Your Buggy Barn quilt is amazing. Would you believe I bought this same BOM around a year ago and it's sitting in a box totally untouched. After seeing yours, it's time to dust mine off and get started. Will be anxious to see it quilted. By the way , the wool quilt is fantastic too.

Anne...they are beautiful. I've been debating about getting Folk Art Blooms and now I know! I'm 1/4 ways through my Autumn quilt. Just curious...do you know how you want both quilts quilted or do you leave it up to your quilter? Will it be custom or all over quilting?BTW...I love your blog!!
ReplyDeleteThe dark colors just make the applique 'Pop'. Hope you'll show them to us again when you finish the quilting...
ReplyDeleteWow! Now those are two masterpieces you finished. I look forward to seeing them hung up in your beautiful home.
ReplyDeleteWOW! Two spectacular quilt finishes in one blog. Stunning.
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful quilts!! I love the black background!!
ReplyDeleteThey are both stunning, but esp. the black one! All colors seem to 'pop' off of black.
ReplyDeleteYou must have an amazing amount of wall space~LOL.

Beautiful! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilts, both of them. Do you ever do any quilting or do you always send to a long arm quilter? Ther are long arm quilters in Britain, but I don't know many people who use them. It seems to be the thing in the USA to have this done.
ReplyDeleteWOW!
ReplyDeleteFantastic, both of them. The Folk art one is just amazing. Love everything about it.
ReplyDeleteThe fall quilt. sigh. I have to get that pattern. I need to make that quilt. :)
Absolutely gorgeous!!! I love all things Buggy Barn, most especially this quilt, you did an awesome job!
ReplyDeleteYou totally rock, Anne! What gorgeous quilts that will be even more gorgeous after they're quilted!
ReplyDeleteCheers!
You can send me "Folk Art Blooms" and I would be very happy! LOL! Not much chance of that.
ReplyDeleteCongrats!!! Glad one of us is finishing things!

ReplyDeleteThis quilt is a real treasure, and I would have picked this as well. Your Autumn Quilt is very pretty, with the different designs reminding one of the Fall season. It's amazing how you've finished such a big quilt. :-)
