Off to the quilter we go!

I got 2 major quilts finished this week.

This one is called Folk Art Blooms and it’s by the talented ladies at the Buggy Barn.    I saw the quilt hanging in their booth at market and it stopped me dead in my tracks.

It measures 87” x 87”.   Hard to get a picture of the whole quilt.   This one will hang in our entry way.

I also finished the Autumn Quilt from Heart to Hand patterns.

It feels so good to have these 2 rather large quilts finally finished.

Now it’s off to the quilter they go!

  3. Your Buggy Barn quilt is amazing. Would you believe I bought this same BOM around a year ago and it's sitting in a box totally untouched. After seeing yours, it's time to dust mine off and get started. Will be anxious to see it quilted. By the way , the wool quilt is fantastic too.

  11. Anne...they are beautiful. I've been debating about getting Folk Art Blooms and now I know! I'm 1/4 ways through my Autumn quilt. Just curious...do you know how you want both quilts quilted or do you leave it up to your quilter? Will it be custom or all over quilting?BTW...I love your blog!!

  17. Beautiful quilts, both of them. Do you ever do any quilting or do you always send to a long arm quilter? Ther are long arm quilters in Britain, but I don't know many people who use them. It seems to be the thing in the USA to have this done.
