Look who we found helping Emily out? Gosh, it's Tony from yesterday's post. Way to get in good graces with your (maybe) future mother in law? If they all read these posts, I hope I don't get in trouble. LOL
The little embroidery in the centers of these churn dash blocks just warmed my heart.
Tiny little dresden plates with templates in the pattern.
And more tiny red and white quilts. I'm getting tired of making big quilts, so these little ones were right up my alley.
Little snowmen. Too cute for words!
This was probably the largest quilt in the booth, yet not a full size quilt.
Gotta have some fun fall projects, don't we?
I don't know why my pictures are so blurry. I must have been so excited I couldn't steady my hand. :)
Another tiny quilt. The fun thing about the patterns is that the little buttons are included in the pattern so you don't have to spend time trying to find them after you've made the quilt.
Well, there's still more to come. Tomorrow you'll get to see another Civil War block in my quilt-a-long with Karen and then I'll try and get all my market posts up for you to see next week. Again, sorry I'm so late, but...better late than never? Please say "yes". Hehe
Hugs, Anne
I first saw one of her patterns made up at a little quilt shop in Boulder Nevada (near Boulder Dam) back in December - those are the TINIEST buttons I've ever seen! So cute!
ReplyDeleteSuch wonderful little creations! Oh, I would have had a hard time choosing. Every single one sings to me!!
ReplyDeleteI like the log cabin quilt with the pots of flowers applique.
ReplyDeleteCute as a .....button!! Love them all!

Absolutely smitten with her designs! How cuteeeee! I am going to the site right now to see if I can land "Around the Pumpkin Patch."

Oh what an adorable shop. My favorite project was the little snowmen. How cute are they?!
ReplyDeleteYes! I'm glad you got this post done - what adorable little quilts. Mini's are really getting to be my favorite thing. Who knew you could add embroidery?
ReplyDeleteNow I KNOW we missed some booths! I would have loved to see this one, Anne! Glad you got some pics for us!
ReplyDeleteCheers!
YES! Better late than never. I used to make small quilts with embroidery and enjoyed it...these remind me to do it again. I love that they add in buttons, and pieces needed. I really want to know about your loot. Did you score any of these?
ReplyDeleteI am tired of making big quilts too so little quilts is what I am going to make. I am going to use that idea of hanging the quilts on the clothesline.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely better late than never! I love her designs - met her once at her former shop in MN - she's very nice and so talented!
ReplyDeleteI would say worth the wait! ;-}
ReplyDeleteThose teeny little quilts are adorable...I can think of so many places that could use a little warming up but wall space doesn't permit the size of a traditional quilt or wallhanging. Wouldn't it be fun to use a clothespinned string of these little quilts in place of or layered over a window valance or on a kitchen soffet?
Thank you for sharing!
I've been finding joy in smaller projects. Love those itty bitty quilts!!!! so adorable!
ReplyDeleteEmily had a booth at the Des Moines AQS show last October, and her booth was one of the best! It always had a crowd of crazy quilters in it! Love her new Red and White mini's! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteOh my! I want EVERYTHING in this booth! Going to get my lotto ticket tonight so I can retire and have more time to quilt! :-)
