Jill Monley was the featured quilter. She made this quilt for her niece who is getting married this week. She had taken a class from Mary Lou Weidman in July (of THIS year). Talk about getting something done quickly…Wow.
Isn’t it cute? Do you see the quilted "I do's"?
And some more of Jill’s.
The guild has an annual retreat and there’s always a class you can take if you want to. This year they made quilts using the snail’s trail block.
And it looks like I wasn’t the only person thinking of the holidays when it was hot. LOL
This one depicts a grandma hanging out with the kids.
Parking was in a vacant DIRT lot across the street. What with all the wind, I got back to my car and you couldn’t even tell what color it was. I’ve never seen it so dirty. So, look what I did…
It was a great day. Congrats to the guild on another successful show.

WOW, thanks for the great pictures, the quilts are wonderful & unique, you all live in the "most beautiful part of this country". Our family vacationed once a year in Sun River & had so much fun up on the mountain. Thanks for the memories.

WOW, thank you for sharing all of these great quilts. I think Jill is amazing and what is really nice is she is sweet and unefected by her talents. Her sister is a doll too so her Mother did a great job. I love your blog. Keep up the good work.
