Meg Hawkey from Crabapple Hill Studio had 2 darling booths across the aisle from each other.
This is her reaction when my camera appeared. LOL
Ah, that's better!
This new design is gorgeous with all the coloring and shading in it.
Meg does such wonderful Christmas and winter designs.
Check out all the snowflakes in the centers of the blocks. Each one different.
Cute for our sewing rooms, right?
How about a fishing theme for the men in our lives?
One of the designers I look forward to seeing at Market is Barri Sue Gaudet of Bareroots patterns. I took a class from her when I lived in California and it was the weekend after 9/11. Needless to say, we were all thankful to be there and did some serious bonding. She is truly a sweetheart and one of my favorite people.
A perfect little book for the little ones in your life.
How sweet is this?
You can never have too many Christmas items in your house...
This is her new book with tons of projects to quilt and stitch.
We all need finger puppets when the kiddos are around.
Thanks to Meg and Barri Sue for being so gracious.
Hugs, Anne
My morning coffee was even better while viewing the new patterns through your camera lens. I like to fish...not just for the men! Lol
ReplyDeleteThe mat with the hearts and the designs on them is what got my attention.
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing to me how there is so much interest now in embroidery for quilts. Such a variety of designs. A unique look.
I am such a fan of Crabapple Hill designs. I am working on one (quilt) right now and just finished The snowmen red/white winter quilt.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed seeing more from the show, so many wonderful booths and new quilts, nice to be able to see more of them.

So many adorable stitchery patterns. I have a few on my UFO list...I really have to get caught up so I can start something new. I'm missing out on so much.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend...

So many wonderful embroidery projects.
ReplyDeleteI've enjoyed all your market post, Anne. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks so much for such great reviews of Market booths. I rarely look at but am deeply inspired by wool and cotton stitcheries and quilts. You have re-inspired me today! Absolutely love the RED Kathy Schmitz quilt - it's my next pattern/book to buy!
ReplyDeletehummm, have 2 of those projects started. I need to give up handwork and pick up one of those big block modern quilts so I can finish something!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm almost 3 years into stitching on Snow Days from Crabapple Hill. Absolutely LOVE the pattern and the embroidery was so enjoyable (just need to piece it together)... it's great that Meg is getting some "guy type themes" in her quilts... almost signed on for Vintage Tin as a BOM too... lol! BUT... it seems I always want to do more than I have time for? lol!
ReplyDeleteGreat take-along projects! Now to gather the supplies...
ReplyDeleteI love hand embroidery~ thanks for the great photo's! It is fun to 'meet' the designers whose patterns we adore.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you, Anne - love to see more and more embroidery! Meg is so camera shy - I think you might have one of the very rare pics of her! How fun to see Barri Sue, too, and all her new goodies!
ReplyDeleteCheers!
Love Sue's pillow with the little words to live by embroidered in little squares surrounded by rick rack... simply adorable! Thanks for sharing your wonderful pictures from the market with all of us!
ReplyDeleteI love to embroider and am jealous you got to meet those two fabulous designers.
