I know I’m a little late with this post, but this time I really do have a good excuse. Sandy’s mom passed away unexpectedly last month, so her world was turned upside down. All of us who have been through this know that there is so much that needs to be done and quilting just kind of takes a back seat (as it should).
Being the super woman that she is though, she got all the projects finished for our show and tell at Woolies last Tuesday.
We both feel we bit off a lot with 7 projects. It would be easier to handle 7 in the winter, so we’ve cut the next few months to only 4 projects. Much more manageable.
On with the show…
I chose all of the projects for July. First up is another little quilt from the book “101 Fabulous Small Quilts”. It’s called “Star Medallion”
Here’s Sandy’s…
And here’s mine.
This next banner is from the Summer 2014 issue of “Primitive Quilts and Projects” magazine. It’s called “Hearts and Stripes Forever” by Diane Knott.
This is Sandy’s…
And I’m hanging mine on our front porch.
And it looks like one banner wasn’t enough for us, so we made the next one from a pattern by “Cottage Creek Quilts” called “Family, Home, Friends”.
Sandy’s…
Mine…
Up next is the last Buttermilk Basin monthly BOM called “By thy Hands.
Sandy’s…
Mine…
And we always have a Christmas project, so this one is by The Woolen Willow, called “Snowtime”.
Sandy’s…
Mine…
Another little Christmas project is this next one by Plum Pudding called “Glory Be”.
Sandy’s….
Mine…
And last, but not least, is another little Buttermilk Basin project called “Half Pints” (August).
Sandy’s…
Mine…
This is where I put mine.
So, that’s it for July. Our plan is to have our August projects finished by this coming Tuesday, so stay tuned. I should be able to post the pictures before the end of the month and that will catch us up.
Thanks to all of you who let me know I hadn’t posted July projects. It’s nice to know you’re keeping me in line! LOL
See ya soon,
Hugs, Anne
