Wa la!

First of all, thanks to everyone for wishing Mr. CnW a happy birthday. Who woulda thunk a man of his age (old) would get his feelings hurt by not making the blog cut? I’m still smiling about that. He read each and every one of the comments and you all made his day!

Now, on to quilty stuff.

Remember these?

261

This is what they turned into.

011

I was a little concerned about how busy the neutrals were, but once it got put together, I decided I like it. The pattern is called “Glory Bound” by Bonnie Blue Quilts.

I think I’m going to tea dye it or distress it or whatever you do to give it an aged look. I’ll have Mary from Quilt Hollow help me with that part since she does it to most of her quilts. Okay Mary?

Went to the guild’s quilt show in the park today. I’ll post pictures once I get them edited.

Hugs, Anne

WOW WOW WOW - that baby is a stunner - love everything about it. I'll be interested in seeing it tea stained and it will give it a real antique look I bet since it's so scrappy. It's beautiful Anne - you did a great job :).

Now I do like what that pile of triangles turned into! I would have used all the different background pieces, too.

I've had that pattern for a while now, Anne. After seeing yours, maybe that will inspire me to get moving on mine. I even have the fabric set aside for it as well.

Yours is simply beautiful!

I have those fabrics and I love what you did with them. It's a great looking quilt. Tea dying is fun and makes the quilt look antique.

I just love it! I've seen several quilts lately in blogland from Bonnie Blue Quilts patterns...I've never made one, but since I'm loving all the ones I see...maybe I'd better get one of those patterns!

I love how all those pieces turned out and I think tea-dyeing it, will give it "character" (as my father-in-law used to say). :-)
