And another project for us all!

So, one of the days before Market started, while everyone was still setting up, I happened to walk down an aisle and was stopped dead in my tracks. I saw this quilt and immediately got on my cell phone and called Karen to let her know that I found her next Block of the Month. 059

This little goodie is only 16 INCHES x 20 INCHES big (or should I say small). The pattern is by Lori Smith and it’s all done in wools by Mary Flanagan. I can’t even begin to tell you how gorgeous it is. The lighting wasn’t very good for picture taking, but trust me, it’s a beauty. I told Karen to run, not walk, to Mary’s booth the minute the doors opened. (I think she liked it too, so make sure you let her know if you’d like her to kit it up. Let’s put the pressure on her).

How’s this for eye candy? Yummy wool.

It was so fun to meet up with her again. We met through blogging and she has become a very special friend.

I would have swooned on the spot if I saw all that wool, Anne. And yes, I have to agree. It's a gorgeous quilt and hopefully Karen will kit it. (hint, hint)

That is a beautiful quilt and love all that wool.
If I could afford it, I would buy all new, dyed wool. I have tons of thrift that need dying.
