A Tisket a Tasket – the finale

002-1

It seems appropriate that we began with a snowman and we’re ending with one.

Are you sad to have this wonderful series come to an end?   I sure am.   In fact, I’ve decided that it won’t end now for me.

005-2

Do you notice something missing?   Like the sashing and borders?   Well, a funny thing happened.  My order hasn’t arrived from my friendly online quilt shop.   I may have to cancel that order and try another friendlier online quilt shop.

And, if I had put it together in the order I photographed it, it would be wrong.   I think I have May and June switched around.   So, I guess it’s a good thing my fabric didn’t arrive!  LOL

I promise to show you the finished project and, hopefully, it won’t be next Christmas.

Thanks, Anne, for a wonderful 12 months of darling blocks.

I love your December block, it came out so cute!! One of these days I'll have to start mine. I plan on using wool also. I don't remember offhand which was May or June but your July and August are switched. Can't wait to see the quilt when it's finished. Are you planning anything special for the borders? More wool applique?

Your last block is wonderful. I can't wait to see it all put together with the sashing and borders.

I'm sorry to see this BOM end. It's been so much fun (although I haven't even finished November's block yet). I wonder what Anne has in store for us next year?

Yep--i agree with Kathleen--the July and Aug blocks are backwards!!! I have also enjoyed this BOM club--at month four though I started doing each month into door hangings--so most of mine are finished--though I do have yet to finish-finish!!! Thanks for showing us the wool version--I may have to attempt it that way one of these days--have a great holiday--hugs, Di

Wow, I love those vibrant colors. It always amazes me how the same pattern looks so differently by changing the fabric.

Yes, I think it is appropriate that we end with a snow man. I was wondering what wool you would use for the candy canes, very very cute.

The wool version is fabulous. 2009 was the year I started my wool addiction. Doing a block of the month at BJ's. yours turned out absolutly wonderful. I am going to be doing more wool project in 2010...I can see why you love it!

ADORABLE - wow that 12 months flew by. I had great intentions of doing this in redwork or blackwork - hmmmmm there's always next year right.

That last block is adorable, I collect snowmen so this is so appropriate. Love your fabric choices. Good job and can't wait to see what you decide on for borders. Wish I could see it in person.
