Temecula Quilt Company

Sorry it's taken me so long to get these pictures up.   Life has been quite hectic this summer.  Anyway, this is the last stop on my Southern California Shop Hop.

This shop was filled with Civil War Reproduction fabrics and patterns.    I was in 7th heaven.  Just wish there had been more kits because I don't need to be buying more yardage and also had to think about sweet Mr. CnW sitting in the car patiently waiting for me.

Enjoy the show.

I bought the pattern for this next quilt.   If I had just seen the cover photo of the pattern, I would have completely passed it by.   It's amazing how a sample made up will sell a pattern.  It's a Bonnie Blue Quilts pattern (Red Crinoline) called "Stars over Fort Sumter"

Here it is again on the upper right.

Some day soon I'll be making a Dresden plate quilt with Civil War fabrics.

I saw this little pillow on their blog and always loved it.   They had one pattern left and I just knew it was meant for me!

So, that brings to an end my wonderful shop hop.   I wish I lived closer to all these shop (or maybe not says my bank account!).

So many sample quilts. I think it makes a good shop and certainly increases pattern sales. There is more than one shop in Southern Calif. that I would like to visit but I don't think it will ever happen. This is definitely one of them.

I have to say, that is one of my favorite shops. Every time I go in there I just want to make everything. I also bought that pattern because I loved the quilt on the wall. Who knew it was the same as the one on the cover? LOL They are completely different.

Oh My! What a great shop! If I only lived closer....!! I didn't see anything I wouldn't want to buy. Wonderful eye candy - thanks for these great pictures.

Oh, gracious!!! I would be in BIG trouble in that little shop!! Odds of my being in southern Cal again are slim to none, however. Glad you had a great stop there.

Oh wow, I would have been in 7th heaven as well. And you are so right. Sometimes I see a quilt made up as a sample at the LQS, and when they show me the pattern, it looks nothing like the sample. It's amazing how different they look made up in different fabrics. Love the pillow!!

I'm LOVING IT - full of beautiful eye candy. I like that Dresdan quilt as well - hmmmm should we challenge each other to make a plate a month - you know my track record is excellent LOL. Hugs

I could not agree more, I was in that shop this summer and thought the same thing, how I wish they had kits for the beautiful quilts on display, I would have bought several!

Temecula Quilt Co. Is definitely one of my top five quilt shops. Love it! All of the samples make it so inspirational.
When I first signed on for their Calico Garden monthly kits I was a bit unsure but after visiting and seeing it up close and personal, I was so glad that I did. My doubt was if I could do the small applique. As you said seeing the actual quilt in person sure makes a difference.

Wow - it's better than I remembered from our trip several years ago, Anne! I'm afraid I'd leave my entire bank account with them - lol!
Cheers!

Oh my, what a dream to be able to go to Temecula shop. It's always been one of my favourite shops featured in Quilt Sampler. I love that pillow too!

First, I'm not sure how I haven't found you before now. Needless to say, you have another follower. Isn't this shop just beautiful? It was in Quilt Sampler (I think that's the one) a while back, and I was drooling then. I luuuuv the Civil War feeling the shop & your pictures present. I so need to get down there.
Thank you for sharing. Now I need to browse through some of your past posts:)
