Last evening I went to another one of our local stores, Quiltworks, for their First Friday exhibit. This month they revisited a number of the previously featured quilters who each brought 2 or 3 of their newest quilts.
Sandy, no blog, was featured this year, so I went to support her. She never fails to disappoint with her creations.
Here she is next to her Merry Christmas quilt by "Heart to Hand".
And this one is a Schnibbles pattern by "Miss Rosie's Quilt Co" that Sandy changed up a bit. She designed and added the wool center.
Another previously featured quilter was Sally Rogers who loves Civil War quilts. She made this one from the book, "The Blue and the Gray". It is stunning and I see this one in my future.
Sally also loves the traditional log cabin block set in the barn raising pattern.
This is a little mini quilt. I should have put something next to it for size reference.
By the time I got to the other quilts, the room was filling up with people and it was hard to see the signs showing who made them. I'll just let you enjoy.
As you can see, there's something for everyone, ranging from the traditional quilts to the modern and art quilts.
Thanks Marilyn and Dave, (owners of the shop) for another wonderful exhibit. If you're in the area be sure and visit the gallery. It will be up for the entire month of September.
Okay...that's 3 posts this week. I'm on a roll here. AND......I've been sewing too! I think I can officially say that my mojo is back!
Hugs, Anne

So glad you are posting again! I think Sandy No Blog needs to start blogging! If I had someone like her around me making such beautiful quilts, maybe I could get out of the slump I'm in.
Such fun quilts to see and of course you know I love Sandy's quilts - always love everything she makes. You go girl on your mojo :) - it's always good when it returns.
